2008 Pontiac G6 GT Convertible2008 Pontiac G6 GT Convertible | ONLY 16,078 KM | One-Owner | Time Capsule | Dealer-Sold New in 2008
A TRUE AUTOMOTIVE TIME CAPSULE
Every once in a while, a vehicle comes through the dealership that is so special, so well preserved, and has such a great story behind it that you can't help but stop and appreciate it.
This is one of those vehicles.
Dale Wurfel Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM is incredibly proud to offer this remarkable 2008 Pontiac G6 GT Convertible, finished in stunning White Diamond Tricoat Pearl with an elegant Ivory White/Taupe leather interior and showing an astonishing **16,078 kilometres** on the odometer!
But the kilometres are only the beginning of the story.
SOLD BRAND NEW RIGHT HERE AT OUR DEALERSHIP!
There is something particularly special about being able to say that we sold this exact vehicle brand new back in 2008.
At the time, Dale Wurfel was proudly operating as a *Pontiac, Buick, GMC dealership*, and this beautiful G6 GT Convertible was sold new right here to its original owner.
He purchased it as a very special birthday gift for his wife - celebrating her 65th birthday.
And from that day forward, this Pontiac was cherished.
It wasn't simply owned.
*It was preserved.*
The original owner kept it meticulously garaged, carefully maintained, and protected from the elements. This G6 never saw a Canadian winter and never saw rain, spending virtually its entire life tucked safely away in a garage.
Nearly two decades later, the vehicle remains an incredible example of just how well a properly cared-for vehicle can age.
And now comes the really special part:
We bought it back from the original owner!
After almost 20 years, this Pontiac has made its way back to the very dealership that originally sold it.
Now, we're giving someone else the opportunity to own this remarkable piece of Pontiac history.
***ONLY 16,078 KILOMETRES***
Think about that number for a moment.
A 2008 vehicle that has travelled just 16,078 kilometres works out to less than 900 kilometres per year on average.
That's extraordinarily low mileage.
And the condition backs it up.
This isn't a high-mileage vehicle that has been cosmetically refreshed to look nice. It is an exceptionally well-preserved example that has spent the vast majority of its life protected from the elements.
The combination of extremely low kilometres, one-owner history, garage storage, no winter driving, no rain exposure, and meticulous care makes this G6 GT Convertible a genuine time capsule.
WHITE DIAMOND TRICOAT PEARL
The exterior is finished in one of Pontiac's most attractive colours for the era: *White Diamond Tricoat Pearl*.
The pearl finish gives the G6 a sophisticated appearance that looks particularly sharp on the convertible body style, while the Ivory White/Taupe leather interior creates an upscale, almost nautical feel that suits the car perfectly.
With the top down on a beautiful summer day, the combination of the white pearl exterior and light leather interior gives this G6 a timeless convertible look.
THE G6 GT CONVERTIBLE
The G6 was Pontiac's stylish mid-size offering during the final era of the Pontiac brand, and the GT Convertible was arguably one of the most unique versions of the G6 lineup.
Rather than using a traditional soft top, Pontiac equipped the G6 Convertible with a power-retractable hardtop that folds away into the trunk at the touch of a button.
That means you get the open-air experience of a traditional convertible while retaining the clean, finished appearance of a hardtop coupe when the roof is closed. The roof automatically stores into the trunk, transforming the G6 from a stylish coupe into a true open-air cruiser.
3.9L V6 POWER
Under the hood, this GT Convertible is powered by the available 3.9L V6, producing approximately:
**222 horsepower**
**238 lb-ft of torque**
Power is sent through a 4-speed automatic transmission with manual-shift capability to the front wheels.
For a comfortable summer cruiser, the 3.9L V6 provides plenty of power for highway cruising, passing, and enjoying the open road, while the automatic transmission makes the G6 effortless to drive.
A PIECE OF PONTIAC HISTORY
There's also something special about this car simply because of what it represents.
Pontiac is a brand that no longer exists.
The G6 was part of Pontiac's final generation of vehicles before the brand was discontinued by General Motors in 2010.
That makes exceptionally preserved examples like this increasingly interesting to enthusiasts and collectors who appreciate the history of the brand.
This isn't necessarily about being the fastest or most expensive car in the room.
It's about finding one that has been **preserved exactly the way enthusiasts hope to find them**.
Original.
Low mileage.
Unmolested.
Properly cared for.
And with a story that can actually be documented.
THE KIND OF CAR YOU DON'T SEE EVERY DAY
You can find plenty of 2008 vehicles for sale.
You can find plenty of used convertibles.
You can even find low-mileage older cars from time to time.
But finding a 2008 Pontiac G6 GT Convertible with only 16,078 kilometres, one-owner history, no winter driving, no rain exposure, meticulous garage storage, and a documented connection to the dealership that originally sold it new is something altogether different.
This is the type of vehicle that makes you say:
"They just don't make them like this anymore."
Whether you're a longtime Pontiac enthusiast, a collector of low-mileage vehicles, looking for a unique summer cruiser, or simply someone who appreciates an exceptionally preserved automobile, this G6 deserves a serious look.
FROM OUR DEALERSHIP... BACK TO OUR DEALERSHIP
There is a great sense of pride in being able to bring this particular vehicle back into our inventory.
We sold it new nearly two decades ago.
We watched its story continue with its original owner.
And now, after all these years, we've had the opportunity to purchase it back and offer it to its next caretaker.
That's not something you can manufacture in a sales description.
It's the real history of the car.
And we're proud to be a part of it.
