2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe - Now in Strathroy

The Jeep Wrangler lineup continues to go from strength to strength, gaining new features and specifications to keep this iconic model at the head of the off-road pack. New Features

The 4xe is based on the existing four-door Wrangler Unlimited model, and includes most of the same features. However, the addition of a hybrid powertrain is a major development for the Wrangler line, greatly increasing its versatility.

But the Wrangler's design is about more than distinctive looks. With its high ground clearance, large wheels, and strong angles, it's a vehicle that's tailor-made for tackling the toughest terrains.

 

Hybrid High Performance

The 4xe is based around Jeep's powerful 2.0L turbo gas engine, paired with dual electric motors to provide the hybrid element. The combination produces a total output of 375 horsepower and 470lb-ft of torque, propelling the vehicle from 0-100kmh in a lively six seconds.

And while the powertrain offers plenty of high performance for off-road adventuring, it's also a great option for daily city duties, with its all-electric range of 40km and miserly fuel consumption of 4.7L / 100km.

 

High-Tech Infotainment

The Wrangler may be famed for its rugged off-road prowess, but the passenger cabin has a level of tech to match the advanced powertrain. Infotainment is handled by a touchscreen up to 8.4" in size, with smartphone pairing provided by Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In-built navigation is available as an option, along with a front camera to remove the blind spot immediately ahead of the front wheels.

 

Advanced Safety

And lastly, the advanced technology continues into the suite of active safety systems available across the entire Wrangler range. Key standard and optional features include:

- Blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alerts.

- Forward collision warnings with automated front emergency braking.
